Tranquil place to stay in Nannup –  Reviews Nov 2018

Tina J,

I stayed here with my husband for a night recently and was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful it was. We walked the grounds and saw ducks, geese and frogs in the lovely pond, admired the gorgeous roses and multitude of other interesting plants in the lush gardens. We continued down for a walk along the Blackwood River and back through the little town which is pretty.

Then we enjoyed a cup of tea in the conservatory with sunlight through the glass and beautiful views, also with an interesting book we found in the bookcase which is full of books, magazines, and board games. Our room was very tastefully decorated, the bed was comfortable, the water in the ensuite was hot. I liked the thoughtful touches, like the reading material and puzzle book in the bedside drawer.

Guests can help themselves to tea and coffee at any time in the lounge, where there is a log fire on cool evenings.

The breakfast room was lovely, also with great views, and the breakfast was simple but good – cereals, juice, fruit, choice of yoghurts, home cooked bread and muffins, home made jam, and of course a pot of brewed tea.

We found the whole place was quiet and peaceful and just what we needed.

I look forward to staying here again next time we travel through Nannup.
