NANNUP FLOWER & GARDEN FESTIVAL
Featuring a Floral Display in the Great Hall of Flowers, open gardens, art workshops, garden talks, weekend market stalls, and children’s activities. Musical entertainment provided, including choir performances and street theatre. The event is held in the 3rd week of August every year.
This year Horticulturist Steve Wood will be dishing up a discussion about how ‘Healthy Soil means Healthy Food’, where you’ll learn how to grow delicious, nutrient rich produce at home. Meet Steve at the Q&A sessions at the end of each day and several information sessions and talks throughout the Festival.
Horticulturist Steve Wood has been working in the nursery industry for 40 years. He’s the owner of Wood’s Cottage Nursery, a presenter with Channel 9‘s The Garden Gurus, a garden talk back presenter with ABC Radio, a presenter with Great Gardens and The Forever Project education programs, not to mention a passionate organic gardener.
The 2017 event featured a sundowner with guest chef Anna Gare and a Garden to Gourmet program. A ‘Forest Foraging’ event with local Josh Whiteland to teach people about native foods and how to prepare them, and a ‘Garden Gourmet’ program and master-classes with acclaimed chefs and garden personalities.

Protected by a canopy of river gums and deciduous trees, this woodland garden is set on 4 acres in the townsite, featuring tulips, camellias, rhododendrons, hellebores, bulbs and irises. A large pond, complete with waterfalls is home to ducks and frogs. A winter creek meanders through the property.

The Nannup Flower & Garden Festival brings the Nannup community together for a 4-day spectacular to ensure the ‘olden day’ traditions are kept alive and well.
Bursting with colour and creative ideas, the Festival will showcase over a hundred garden and craft stalls, landscape trends, new plant releases and stunning open garden displays. With plenty to do for the whole family from a dedicated children’s area, garden talks, demonstrations and floral displays in the Great Hall of Flowers, don’t miss the Nannup Flower & Garden Festival 17 August to 20 August.
