Fantastic beautiful location – Reviews Sept 2018

We really enjoyed our stay at Holberry House. We were made extremely welcome by Louise and Chris. The room was lovely, with attached en-suite. The bed was comfortable and the shower water hot. A fresh vase of flowers adorned the dressing table every day. The view to the garden out the window was delightful. The continental breakfast provided was great, including gluten free bread and muffins for me! The early morning view to the garden filled with birds was delightful. There’s lots to see in nearby charming Nannup and surrounds, but we spent a lot of the cold winter-like days in front of the roaring fire in the lounge room where there books and games and a tv though we didn’t turn it on. Our hosts made bookings for us in town for dinner sometimes but we also were able to have a lovely light meal of soup and toast or a groaning cheese platter.. The gardens are extensive, a great mix of Australian natives and exotics, interspersed with wonderful sculptures that are for sale.
Thanks Rosemary for your review. It was lovely to have you both stay with us. Would you believe that the day you departed the sun came out! The wildflowers are just now starting to come out at Barrabup and along the Mowen Rd, hopefully you got to see some on your way to Margaret River.
